(Macao, May 16, 2013) - The Venetian® Macao is sponsoring the three-time Grammy-nominated Tiempo Libre for the June 22 Cuban Rhythm, a symphonic concert collaboration with the Macao Orchestra at the Venetian Theatre; tickets go on sale Friday, May 17 at all CotaiTicketing™ box offices* and via Macao Kong Seng Ticketing Network.
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Cuban Rhythm brings the Miami-based seven-man band to perform its irresistible, dance-inducing mix of Latin jazz and Cuban son – timba music – including selections from the group’s latest album, My Secret Radio, as well as from previous albums Bach in Havana, Lo Que Esperabas and Arroz Con Mango. Tiempo Libre’s talent for playing astonishing riffs and rhythmic beats allows the audience to explore the beauty of jazz and its richness. The group has appeared on The Tonight Show, Live From Lincoln Center and Dancing with the Stars.
Tickets for the 8 pm, June 22 performance of Cuban Rhythm go on sale Friday, May 17 at 10 am, through CotaiTicketing and Macao Kong Seng Ticketing Network.
